Question Is my WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM timepiece authentic?
AnswerWhen purchasing a WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM timepiece from third parties such as unauthorised vendors on Amazon, eBay or Groupon, you risk receiving an unauthentic, used or defective product. To ensure full authenticity of your WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM timepiece, we highly encourage you to purchase it directly from our website or via an authorized WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM retailer.

In addition, the WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM warranty terms and conditions are only valid for timepieces or accessories that are accompanied with the original documentation.

Question Is my watch water resistant?
AnswerThe timepieces of WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM can in any case withstand daily use and light rain. Although we recommend to avoid all contact with water and to not directly expose your timepiece to water, the timepieces of WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM have a water resistance of 5 ATM – resistant to water when swimming on the surface or showering, as long as there are no large temperature differences.

If you do come into contact with water, keep in mind that water damage is not covered by the 12-month warranty.

Question What is my watch made of?
AnswerBoth the cases of our Silver and Gold watches are made of stainless steel (316L), and the Gold timepieces are coated by a durable layer of vacuum plating, to give them a durable, unique golden look.

The distinctive curved glass is made of hardened mineral glass. It is resistant against normal wear and tear but should be used with care. Kindly note that a damaged crystal/glass is not covered under the 12-month warranty.

The timepieces of WILLIAMS AMSTERDAM are equipped with a leather wristband. Additional suede wristbands are available in the online store.

Question What type of movement is used in my watch?
AnswerAll Williams Amsterdam timepieces use a Swiss Quartz Movement. At the Cameleon Series we have used a Ronda 785 movement.
Question Can I wash my wristband?
AnswerSince our wristbands are made of leather and suede, we do not recommend washing them. Exposing the material to water will cause it to dry, which may lead to damage of the wristband. If you still want to clear your watch strap, we recommend you visit a local watchmaker or retailer. They often have cleaning products specifically designed for leather and suede.
